Well I did it, I have created my own blog, thanks to some encouragement from my seasoned blogger friend Jody.
Well we are all shifted in and must say have got most of the rooms looking liveable. Not unpacking to much as hoping to shift into our own nest in about 6 months time, that is the plan thus far. It is nice to be back in this house. It is warm, cosy and a very easy house to live in. Our neighbours are pleased to have us back and it is a nice quiet street, no hoons or neighbours playing doff doff music at all hours.
Quick recap for those unaware of our latest goings on. May 2006 Move to Blenheim, Move into rental, needing a bit of TLC and a shower that you pumps out water as fast as a turtle shagging and creaking floor boards and just a few other little quirks it had. February 2007 moved back to Ashvegas, back to same house and Geoff back to same job. I know, scary stuff.
So we are back in Vegas, feeling like we have never left, except have made some awesome friends in Blenheim, so was well worth it and will be back one day. Tom and I went to a local playgroup this morning, run by the Parents Centre and it was really good. Lots of different activities for the bubbas, varing ages but alot around Tom's age so will be good for him to mix with some boys and girls his age. A few girls from my old antenatal class were there so was good to catch up with them. The Parents Centre here is fantastic, very proactive and have lots of things going on. I also joined the Toy Library which is pretty cool. Geoff didn't know who was more excited me or Tom. Had to restrain myself from getting to much, so ended up with a little red car and a musical thingie.
Well I don't want to get to in depth on my first blog and bore you all to tears, plus I hear the wee man so best get him up.
